In 2019, my brother, Tom Grass, and I co-founded Grass & Co. We were united by a shared belief in the healing power of nature, and how time spent outdoors can restore both body and mind.

‘Inspired by nature’ was at the heart of our very first products, and it continues to guide everything we do today. Our mission is simple: to help people feel their best, naturally. We blend the highest quality natural ingredients with cutting-edge science to create wellness products that support focus, calm, energy, and sleep.

Early last year, I lost Tom. He had struggled on and off with depression throughout his adult life. In February 2024, he tragically took his own life. Tom was widely loved, as a friend, brother, son, and uncle, and is deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

But Tom was much more than an entrepreneur. He was a storyteller, a brilliant maverick, and a true adventurer. He travelled the world on foot, by bicycle, and on motorbike and lived for long periods in Africa and India, always chasing wonder and meaning.

To honour his memory, we’ve launched the Tom Grass Spirit of Adventure Prize, a writing award that supports emerging voices and celebrates the transformative power of story and exploration. You can learn more at tomgrassprize.com.

Grass & Co. remains rooted in the values Tom and I believed in from the start: integrity, curiosity, and a deep respect for nature. Wellness is a journey, and for us, it will always begin with the natural world.
